WASSUPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! First post of 2006:
NYE countdown was the worst in my 24 years of life. A night whereby I never had a single drop of alcohol. Not that it's isn't good, just that I believe alcohol comes with celebrations. I practically spent the last few of hours of 2005 queueing up at MOS, and the first few mins of 2006 still queueing outside MOS. Had the countdown right outside in the queue surrounded by a bunch of angry mob.It didn;t helped that I even jumped queue twice but still can't get in. I hereby declare it as the worst countdown of my life. PUI. I did not had my ass groped by some bangala however. I hear that there were sad cases of girls who were molested along orchard road. As long as the place need to pay money, you won't find the bangalas there.
What pisses me off more was the fact that they told me it was full house when I was like 5 metres from the entrance. 5 fucking metres, to hearing Darren Emerson live again.
The bouncers taunt us further by throwing party packs into the crowd. WHAT? You think by giving out such free stuff is enough to pacify us? FUCK. Should have bought the presale tix in the first place. The crowd in turn threw the stuff back across the road to the crowd at the other side and at the bouncers. My heart goes out to the driver of the Ferrari whose baobei car was pelted with whistles and stuff from the party packs.
One look across my bros' faces and one can tell their faces were blacker than the tarmac. At 1245 we decided enough was enough and we shifted to Zouk. Sitting in the SLK which totally messed up my hair kinda reminded me that I should go get myself a haircut soon.
Upon reaching Zouk, we realised that the crowd was not there and the cover was way to expensive. It was then decided that we should just simply go for supper and call it a day. They then shifted to newton. I had my own supper plans at geylang at yong he tou hua. Sorry bros for not joining you guys at newton. But I was really glad that we did spent the countdown together and the wished each other happy new year. The warm handshakes and the brotherly hugs that were exhanged reminded me how long we have known each other. Someone once told me it's not the place you go to, but the company you are with. True to a certain extent, I must say.
While waiting for cab at the bus stop outside Zouk, I saw a malay couple dead drunk sitting and throwing up at the same time. WTF? I didn't know malays can consume alcohol??? The lady was trying my make herself throw up by making those funny noises. Funny cuz' I don't know what to type for the noise she made. It's those sounds from the throat that you make when you try to throw up. KNN lim bei hear liao also wanna vomit liao. After what seems like 15 mins of trying to throw up, one of their friends decided enough was enough and called their friends who drove. Once the car came, she was practically lifted and dumped onto the backseat, with her top and skirt soaked in her own vomit.
Then along came Dumb and Dumber. 2 guys who were totally wasted. Hugging each other as they walked along the pavement. Mumbling words which I couldn't decipher. Kissing each other on the forehead which made me sick. Then out of nowhere BAMP!!! 2 of them just fell onto the kerb on their back. As I was about to go help them, their friends came running along then helped them up. LJ lah, can't drink then don't drink so much can? I know it's new year, time to get high. But alcohol is for you to relax and if you get high, it's an awesome feeling. But to get drunk like a fucking dead fish is a no-no. Not only you made a fool of yourself, you created trouble for your friends too.
More drama: Damsel in distress came to sit beside me. Tears in her eyes and sms-ing away on her hp, while I eyed her titties. The hp rang and I heard was her whining to the guy on the line about him pang seh her. Sob stories on New Year Day? Give me a break! Enough of the dramas, I was quietly hoping my ride would come soon.
Talking about cab queues, it was chaotic at the zouk bustop that night. I think the bouncers never bothered about helping people getiing cabs that night, as there was no bouncers stationed there. So the people were like moving more and more upfront the road in order to get a cab. Which leads to people jumping queue trying to flag a cab in advance. Vulgarities were shout amongst the angry people right at the back of the so-called queue. Well, most of the queue jumpers were the ang mohs. Taller, bigger and longer, you also lanlan right.
No action, but plenty of drama on my worst countdown night. Next year die also must buy the pre-sale tix ar!!!!! The only nice thing was the 15 mins of cab ride plus the supper at geylang.
Went MOS last night on sms invite. Sun night, can;t expect much. No crowd at all. Got in quite fast. Saw a couple of friend and had a few drinks. Guess most of the people were all home resting hangovers from the previous night. All I saw there was an old crowd and lots of bui cais. Liao lim bei ey si kan. Word of advice: Riding when you are high? Don't ever try!
Sound like I'm whining? Hell, Yes! My thoughts? Do I ever think? Next post!!! This post long enough anot?? Cfm more than 6" loh!!!!Now to try out new blogskin!!
